Original Movement

Our first action when born is to take a big breath. And the last action we take in life is an exhalation. The opposite of birth is death, and life is what we do and how we move and breathe in between. Yoga can help us move through life with more awareness and ease.

Many yoga postures are what we did originally to strengthen muscles and learn to move, and are often named after animals with similar movement. Relearning to move in these ways is beneficial to healthy living and aging.
